I am about to get a job at Otis Spunkmeyer as a delivery driver. Anyone know if they do drug testing there?

I am about to get a job at Otis Spunkmeyer as a delivery driver. Anyone know if they do drug testing there?
If you are going to get anywhere in life you need to leave the drugs behind. Not preaching, just reality.

Reply:Probably for insurance purposes, they don't want people driving around in their company vehicle who have smoked that wacky weed.
Reply:I think you should expect some kind of drug testing yes. Being "High As a Kite" doesn't look good. Get "High on Jesus" instead
Reply:Not knowing the company policies and making a good educated guess I would say YES! Most corporate companies will require a drug test for drivers.

Reply:i imagine they do a drug test after an accident. that's what my company does. if you get in an accident and you test positive for drugs, you don't get any compensation or anything, and it's all your fault.
Reply:They probably do so they don't hire people who would be impaired.

When you were interviewed/offered you signed a release for a criminal background and DMV check I am sure. Most employers advertise they are drug free work places exp ones that put employees in company owned vehicles and/or have them going in and out of customers homes.

Reply:probly cuz you would be driving one of their trucks so you would probly have to give one for insuance purposes. besides if you got in a wreck and failed a drug test they would not help you with medical bills at all and would not be insured
