Im going for a job interviev today for a Schwans home delivery salesman anyone have any experience with this company and what do you thing of the job?

What it boils down to is persistence and a good personality.
Reply:Door-to-door sales are very tough these days. Everybody is at work during the day and nobody wants to be bothered in the evening.





Not saying it can't be done and done well. But for the amount of effort required to pull it off I think he could do better elsewhere.
Reply:my husband worked for a similar company for 2 yrs. its door-to -door sales, so if you are the type of person who doesnt take it personally when a door is slammed in your face, then go for it. where my husband worked, he was a "contractor", not an employee, so he had no benefits and just earned money based on how much he sold. and he worked 6 days a week, til 8 or 8:30 every night, since you had to knock on doors after people are home from their 9-5 jobs.


be sure to find out the commission structure, benefits, if any, truck charges, if any, and what they expect of you and how they will train you.





you also need to think of the economy at present, which isnt so good. most people are tightening belts and not using food delivery services since supermarket prices are better.
