The Syracuse newspaper has an ad this week for carriers. They prefer cars but if you can cover some territory on your bike, you can start tomorrow.

Where can you get driving / delivery / web based jobs or similar in North Devon?

I'm just about to move to North Devon (Ilfracombe) and I have a few spare days per week I'd like to use earning some extra cash. Could anyone let me know where I could get driving / delivery jobs or similar to fill my time. I could also do monumental masonry, basic building / carpentry, web design, promotions, desktop publishing %26amp; marketing strategy consultancy (I've been around!)

Please keep your answers helpful, thanks.

Hi,

I found a good website which is an index for all legitimate jobs from home. There are jobs like "researchers, ad testers, writers, sales %26amp; customer service and more. No scams and none of the listed jobs charges any fees.

What jobs can a 14 year old get apart from a newspaper delivery round?

My son is 14 and wants to earn some cash but he is only on the waiting list for the local newspaper's delivery round. Any suggestions?
What jobs can a 14 year old get apart from a newspaper delivery round?
-being a caddy at a golf course is an excellent answer- i started caddying when i was 12 yrs old- i knew nothing about golf-except caddies were paid in cash, no taxes taken out-if people thought of you as a nice clean cut kiddo-who was saving money for college- and you were polite and well groomed and pleasant- they would often ask for you by name when they played again-also if you learned to watch the ball well-out of bounds- found the ball in the rough- gave tips for putting-on the break of the ball, etc., you could do very well financially--i caddied six days a week- from sun-up to sun- down except for rainy days-cats and dogs rainy- and did very well financially- one summer i even grew 1 1/2 inches due to the great exercise from all that walking- it is a wonderfull way to earn money and meet nice folks- tell your son to check with the local clubs as some clubs only use electric carts these days and not all use real live caddies anymore !! good luck to your son !!
Reply:A good one be mowing lawns or helping people with their yards. Also, I know a lot of young kids to a lot of car washing. i hope that helped.
Reply:What I'm about to recommend is not a job but a way to earn some money via the Internet. However, be warned that it requires a lot of hard work, determination and research to succeed. You can help your 14 year old son get an account while he learns HTML to build sites or simply start a blog.

What your son can do is that he can write niche content and make some money via Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Network. Both are pay per click programs. Check out this case study https://www.google.com/adsense/askthebui... It's about Askthebuilder.com earning nearly $30,000 a month with Google Adsense.

Create sites via free hosting. This way you need not invest any money. Just valuable time to create websites. See one of my profitable site at http://www.wareprise.com

Your son may not get checks almost immediately but with the right methods and hard work, it's definitely a good source of passive income which will come sooner or later.

If you need more details, there are some good information and articles from this site. http://earncash.50webs.com
Reply:Lawn mowing, yard work, various odd jobs. I'm a woman alone - I'd pay a kid for help with moving stuff, clearing out dead plants, sweeping garage etc. The trick is finding the person that needs it - maybe run a newspaper ad.
Reply:If he can make some flyers for the local neighborhood, he will not have to travel far to earn money. He might offer to detail cars (clean inside completely %26amp; vac), walk people's dogs, or trim next to fences and driveways with a weed-eater. If he keeps his charges reasonable and makes a point of doing an excellent job, he will have people lining up for his services.
Reply:As long as it's part time and they don't serve alcohol, he can wash dishes, cook, wait tables... lots of stuff. The best people to ask are local business owners.
Reply:Being a caddy at a golf course. Pays pretty good.
Reply:Try submitting articles or fiction to appropriate publications. Maybe they would love to have a column from a young voice? Start a comic strip and see if a newpaper would have it. Maybe even help your son and set up an eBay based business where he can sell crafts or help get rid of junk you'd normally sell in a garage sale/spring cleaning sale.
Reply:Cutting grass, pulling weeds or odd jobs.
