6 mnths pregnant and looking for a job after delivery?? Should I?

Right now im in my last 5 weeks of college and will have my Business Administration degree April 27.Im very excited about this, and my hubby is eager for me to get a job ASAP..or after the baby is born My question is with me being pregnant do you think it would be ok if i started applying for diffrent places and put my start date for about Sept. would that look weird, or do u think it would be better to wait. Thanks in advance

I wouldn't go job interviewing while pregnant.
Reply:I think that you should go for it. Im planning to get a job at i deliver.
Reply:Wait. Things will definitely change between now and then! Plus, that will give you time to get into the groove of things with you and your baby and then you'll have a better idea of what will actually work for you when looking for a job.

Congratulations, and good luck!
Reply:You might as well wait. Most want someone to start now, not in a few months. Also, you might change your mind and decide to be a stay-at-home mom.

You might consider trying to get a job that you could do from home. But your baby really will need your full attention for quite a while.

Perhaps you should tell your hubby that you're anxious for him to get a 2nd job so that you can be with the baby.
Reply:I would wait it out, you might change your mind once you have that baby in your arms. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!
Reply:Instead of being so excited about getting your degree and wanting to work ASAP, what you should want to do is be with your baby, spend time with him instead of thinking about popping him out and starting work ASAP. enjoy your child and spend time eith him since babies grow yp so fast that its important to spend the most time as possible with them. be smart.
Reply:I think you should wait because when you apply and you put such a late date they may not even consider your application,or take it seriously and pulse you want to give your body some time to recovery. I would recommend to start looking for a job while your in your six weeks recovery period, this can also give you time to figure out child care. Hope this helps...
Reply:I would go for it as long as the companies/agencies made certain accomodations such as letting you pump at work, etc. I was in school when I gave birth to my first child and went back to school two days later after having a C-section. All that hooting and hollering you see on TV is just for show. It is not really like that at all. We women are tough and you will persevere. Keep your head up cause like you said times are tough.
Reply:I'd wait. If you apply now with that extended start date your resume will probably just get thrown away...especially with a generic degree like a BA. If you were in a specialized field that is constantly looking for qualified entry level people (like nursing) then maybe but with a BA I'd just wait.
Reply:You should take care of your baby. Geez, you sound like you can't wait to drop the kid and run...What are you, a money making machine or a mother?
